CDT NATO Integrated Cyber Defence Centre (NICC) Coordinator

Duties

  • Coordinate and support the activities of the NATO Integrated Cyber Defence Centre (NICC), ensuring effective collaboration across NATO cyber defence stakeholders.
  • Support the NICC Enterprise Coordinator Office by tracking decisions, actions, deliverables, and implementation progress.
  • Coordinate CDT contributions across the NICC communities, including cyber defence, risk management, and incident-related activities.
  • Manage and monitor project plans, workstreams, stakeholder engagement, risks, and deliverables related to NICC initiatives.
  • Organize, facilitate, and document meetings, workshops, and coordination activities, producing reports, briefings, and executive-level documentation.
  • Act as the primary liaison between CDT, SHAPE, NATO HQ, and key stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Represent CDT at SHAPE when required and support senior leadership through regular reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with NATO security procedures, governance, and operational protocols while providing weekly progress updates and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid NATO SECRET Security Clearance.
  • More than 3 years' experience at OF-4 level (or equivalent senior military rank).
  • Significant management experience within a national military organization.
  • Strong knowledge of NATO cybersecurity structures, policies, and cyber defence capabilities.
  • Experience managing or delivering cybersecurity programmes covering areas such as cyber defence, incident management, and risk management.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, programme administration, and working in complex, cross-functional, multinational environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience briefing senior military, technical, and policy decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (minimum NATO SLP 4343 or equivalent); knowledge of the second NATO language is desirable.
  • Previous experience supporting NATO, defence, or government cyber defence programmes.
  • Knowledge of NATO security requirements and experience working in mixed military and civilian environments.
